120 HIGH TORQUE DRILLING DISCONNECT The High Torque Disconnect uses a unique mechanism which eliminates the usual torque dogs seen in most other disconnect assemblies.  The disconnect was designed to with- stand the vibration and torsional loading commonly associated with the use of downhole motors and hammers, without disconnecting prematurely due to wear.  The disconnect is drop ball activated and incorporates a standard internal profile to facilitate retrieval of the fish with the Specialty Tools Hydraulic Release Internal Pulling Tool.  The tool is available with customer specified connections. The pressure activated time delay disconnect mechanism ensures that the disconnect can- not be activated accidentally. The pressure at which the disconnect cycle begins is adjustable from 1000 psi to 6000 psi.  The delay timing of the disconnect cycle is adjustable from 15 to 60 minutes.
