121 MULTI-OPENING CIRCULATING SUB The Multi-Opening Circulating Sub is designed to replace a conventional drop ball circulating sub to allow additional cir- culating capability above the tool string. The Multi-Opening Circulating Sub is flow activated and can be cycled as many times as required without pulling the BHA. Assembly Torsional Tensile O.D. Flapper Check Valve DUAL CIRCULATION SUB The Dual Circulation Sub is designed to allow additional circulation capabilities above the tool string by two activation methods.  The tool incorporates drop ball activated circulating ports and a burst disc. The pressure at which the tool will open by the drop ball method can be easily adjusted at surface by varying the number of shear pins used. In the event that circulation is lost, pressure can be applied to the tubing to burst the disc allowing a drop ball to be pumped to the circulating sub or discon- nect.  Burst discs are available in 4,000, 5,000 and 6,000 psi ratings. BALL CHECK VALVE Typically run in tandem, the Ball Check Valve is a safety component used within a coiled tubing string.  It provides one-way flow to allow fluids, N2, or CO2 to be pumped through the coiled tubing, while preventing well fluids from flowing back up the tubing string.  Ball check valves will not permit drop balls or wiper plugs to be pumped through to the tool string below.
