Substructures 78 The parallelogram Substructure is designed for ease of transport and fast rig up/down time. The drill floor can be raised from the transport position to the working position by either the drawworks or a truck winch. The integral style ubstructure is built into the rig carrier, reducing up/down time to a minimum and eliminating additional substructure loads. Rig moves are achieved by simply raising the bearing pad by means of hydraulic cylinders provided. The desert pin-on substructure is unique having the substructure and catwalk as one unit.
