The Mission brand of expendables were first offered to the Oil &
Gas industry in the 1930's to enhance mud pump performance on
the founders own drilling rigs. This seventy years of experience and
pioneering is built into all of the pump expendables we offer today.
SUPREME PISTONS
Mission piston with renewable rubber inserts.
Features include:
• Removable rubber Inserts.
• Wear grooves machined into the piston head to indicate
available piston life.
• Suitable to 5000 psi operation.
• Operates in oil based and water based drilling fluids.
• Available for Triplex and Duplex Pumps.
FLEX-LIP PISTONS
Mission bonded piston.
Features include:
• Rubber Elastomer bonded to piston head.
• Suitable up to 5000 psi.
• Operates in oil based and water based drilling fluids.
• Flexile lip for use as a tail out piston.
• Available for Duplex and Triplex Pumps.
GREEN DUO PISTONS
Mission Bonded Urethane Elastomer Piston.
Features include:
• Superior abrasion resistance.
• Extrusion resistant for today’s higher pressure drilling
environments.
• Excellent performance in oil, water, and synthetic based
drilling fluids.
• Available in sizes up to 9”.
• Excellent performance in slurry applications.
WHITE LIGHTNINGTM PISTONS
Mission new piston with renewable Urethane inserts manufactured
from White Lightning Elastomer material.
Features include:
• Removable Urethane Inserts.
• Proven heat resistance up to 230° F.
• Configured to work on Mission Supreme Piston heads.
• Higher abrasion resistance than conventional Urethanes.
• Higher Tensile strengths than conventional Urethanes.
• Available for Duplex and Triplex Pumps.
• Superior performance in oil, water, and new synthetic
based drilling fluids.
