NOV Fiber Glass Systems manufactures line pipe for oil and gas production and injection where corrosive fluids are encountered. Sizes range from 1 ½” through 12” diameters for the high pressure product line, with pressure ranges up to 3,500 psig in certain sizes. For low pressure applications, we offer Star® Super Seal pipe and fittings in 2” through 12” diameters and Red Thread® II piping and fittings are available in 2”-24” diameters with pressure ratings up to 450 psig.
NOV Fiber Glass Systems offers our high pressure line pipe product line manufactured using three different resin systems, all epoxy and all designed for oilfield fluids conpatibilities. Star Anhydride Epoxy line pipe is offered in either STAR Standard Design or API 15HR Design and is available in diameters 1 ½” through 8”. Star Aliphatic Amine Epoxy piping is also offered as a STAR Standard Design product in diameters 1 ½” through 12”, and as an API 15HR Design product that is available in diameters 1 ½” through 8”. Star Aromatic Amine Epoxy line pipe comes as an API 15HR Design product and is available in 1 ½” through 8” diameters.
Applications for these types of piping systems in the oilfield are anywhere where high corrosion rates are found. These include primary production, water injection or disposal, gas production and gathering, water transport, and inner battery transfer lines.
Fiberglass Composite Tubing and Casing is offered in sizes 1 ½” through 9 ⅝” and the pipe construction is available in either Threaded and Coupled (T&C) or Integral Joint (IJ) configuration.
Five connections are available for straight runs of piping - Advanced Composite Thread (ACT), Precision Ground Thread (PGT), Star Super Seal (SSS), Star Super Seal High Pressure (SSS HP), and Threaded and Bonded (T.A.B.™) joint. Compatible fittings range in sizes to match the sizes, temperatures, and pressures of the pipes.
