On-Rig Data Collection
Tracking key indicators while drilling is important in order to know how your rig pipe is damaged during the drilling process. This data forms the backbone for later analysis that will be key in estimating fatigue-life and determining when your pipe is due for inspection, replacement, or less-severe service according to algorithms provided by the system or determined by Engineers and management.

Rig Antenna
The Rig Antenna reads and records the location on the drillstring of each joint while tripping-in and out of the hole. This data is needed in order to implement algorithms for calculating fatigue-life, depreciation, next-needed inspection, remaining useful life, etc by correlating well trajectory, ROP, WOB, speed, torque, and other parameters with the location of each joint in the string. The antenna is permanently installed below the rotary table and is specifically designed to not need to be moved during drilling operations. All size rotary tables are supported.

Rig Controller
The Rig Controller interfaces with on-rig systems to collect data such as ROP, WOB, speed, depth, and torque in order to provide that information to the central database. This data is used for fatigue calculation and pipe-life analysis.

Rig Handheld Computer
The Bartec 9090 handheld running SensiOn software on the rig is used to scan a joint and look-up information in the database about it. It will be logistically necessary to have access to the SensiOn through the handheld device for convenience.
