Mission Magnum XP™
Mission Magnum XP™
Centrifugal Pumps

NOV Mission Magnum XP™ is suited for pumping high volumes of abrasive and corrosive slurries.

Related Information

NOV Mission Magnum XP™ is suited for pumping high volumes of abrasive and corrosive slurries. Magnum XP’s small footprint design is critical for high volume mobile and stationary applications. The low stuffing box pressure and heavy shaft design provide maximum seal life. These pumps can be direct connected or belt driven because of the 2 ½” diameter seal area and a 3” diameter between the bearings.

Typical Applications

• Sand slurry
• Slag
• Fly ash
• Bottom ash
• Dredge tailings
• Food processing
• Blending
• Paper pulp processing
• Waste slurries
• Sewage
• Fluid supercharging
• Spend liquor
• Nickel shot
• Copper, bauxite, and quarry slurries
• Lead and zinc ore and tailings

• Versatile stuffing box
• Thick, strong, concentric casing with replaceable casing wear pad
• Casing gasket receded for protection
• Back vanes reduce collection of solids at stuffing box and reduce box pressure
• Replaceable stuffing box cover with dual stuffing box bolts
• Long-life no-adjustment mechanical seal available for near zero leakage
• Replaceable shaft sleeve prevents shaft wear
• Labyrinth seals for maximum bearing protection come standard
• Duplex angular contact bearings eliminate shaft end play and increases bearing and seal life
• Full pipe diameter entrance for minimum turbulence and maximum efficiency
• Wide Semi-Open impeller
• Stronger Material Options: Hard iron, Stainless steel, Aluminum bronze, Magnachrome, and Supreme hard
