NOV MSW Pulsation Dampeners consist of a steel cylindrical housing with a flanged end used to connect the dampener to the piping. Inside the housing there is an elastic cartridge filled with nitrogen threaded to the other end. The annular space between both parts allows an exchange of energy between the fluid and the elastic cartridge.

Housing

• The carbon steel housing is finished with an inner coating of epoxy resin for maximized corrosion resistance
• Flanges are according to ANSI B16.5 (except where indicated)

Cartridge

• Replaceable cartridge with a threaded or wingnut type connection
• Standard bladder material is nitrile rubber
• Please contact us for other cartridge materials

Applications

• Suitable for either fresh or salt water, hydrated or non-hydrated crude oil and its by-products
• Temperatures between -20°C to 82°C.
