Quality, Health, Safety and Environment (QHS&E) Policy

The long-term business success of NOV Grant Prideco depends on our ability to continuously improve our products and services, while protecting our people and the environment in which they work and live. It is a commitment, which is in the best interest of our employees and stockholders.

QHS&E is the responsibility of management, with the active commitment and support of all employees. NOV Grant Prideco will facilitate this policy through the QHS&E Management System with the following Objectives:

• Assure customer satisfaction by providing products and services that consistently meet the needs and expectations of our customers
• Protect the Health & Safety of our employees, customers, and contractors
• Protect the Environment & Community where we work and live by pollution prevention, waste minimization, wise use of natural resources, and continual improvement
• Educate our customers, contractors, business partners and the public on the safe and environmentally responsible use of our products and services
• Recognize outstanding QHS&E performance by our employees

We are committed to the proactive integration of QHS&E Objectives into our Management Systems at all levels. The commitments in this policy are in addition to our basic obligation to comply with NOV Grant Prideco standards, as well as all applicable laws and regulations where we operate. Compliance with this policy is critical to our business success because it reduces risks and adds value to our products and services. Since 2001, NOV Grant Prideco achieved an 88% reduction for total recordable incident Rate ( TRIR) and a 90% reduction of lost time incident rate (LTIR)
