T-Lock® sheet lining wraps over your existing sewer line and acts like a cap against corrosive gases— without interrupting service.

EXTENSIVE CORROSION
The existing unlined concrete sewer line exhibits extensive corrosion above the low flow line from acid-forming sewer gases produced by anaerobic bacteria.
|
| |
SEWER UNCOVERED
The sewer line is uncovered below the flow line. Often the trench walls themselves can serve as outer form for the new concrete encasement.
|
| |
T-LOCK ATTACHED
Sheets of T-Lock are attached with adhesive to the exterior of the sewer line. The sheets are made continuous by heat-fusing a weld strip over the seems.
|
| |
STEEL & CONCRETE
After steel reinforcement has been placed, concrete is poured around the sewer line. The concrete flows around the projecting tees, permanently locking the sheet in place.
|
| |
T-LOCK ENCASEMENT
The old sewer line is now furnished with a T-Lock lined concrete encasement. All rehabilitation work has been accomplished without interruption of service.
|
| |
LONG TERM PROTECTION
The exposed pipe surfaces continue to corrode until the liner is exposed. The liner permanently protects the concrete encasement against corrosion.
