For well locations without electrical service, National Oilwell Varco offers the next generation of hydraulic wellhead drives for use with progressive cavity pumping systems.

All models in NOV's line of hydraulic wellhead drives consists of:

• Detachable stuffing box
• Hinged belt guards
• Motor mounting plate
• Lifting hooks
• Standard 4:1 reduction ratio through belts and sheaves
• Wellhead safety chain (1/2")
• Remove grease fill
• Totally enclosed belt guards

Electric

National Oilwell Varco's line direct driveheads are specifically designed for use with progressive cavity pumping systems. The drivehead was developed with robust, long life field duty in mind.

The typical drive comes with a hollow shaft which is coupled to the polished rod through a polished rod clamp. The motor is fully adjustable using a hinged door and motor mounts. The belts and sheaves are fully enclosed and can be assembled with standard rope style packing or with our Integral Environmental or Retrofit Stuffing Box.
