Convenient and Affordable

By mobilizing our capabilities, we provide onsite maintenance and operations courses to meet your training requirements for your National Oilwell Varco equipment. The expense of hotels, transportation, food, and time away from daily operations can be costly, and scheduling to send your personnel to a training course offered at one of our facilities is not always conducive to your operating schedule. Making our training mobile is a convenient and affordable solution to keep your rigs operating safely and properly at all times.

With a small, classroom atmosphere, we provide focused attention for your training needs. Our instructors are multi-skilled and equipped with practical, experience. Mobile courses incorporate advanced media and thorough course packets are provided. Upon successful completion of these courses, your crew will be better equipped for daily operation of National Oilwell Varco equipment.

  • Trailer Dimensions are 50’ long x 13'6" high x 102" wide
  • Ten (10) desk top computer stations in "classroom" setting
  • Full A/V and surround sound
  • Kitchen with refrigerator, microwave, stainless counters and sink

IRON ROUGHNECKS
IR-3080 OR ST80

½ DAY

IR-3080 Iron Roughneck

This course is designed to train personnel on the maintenance, mechanical troubleshooting and repair of the IR-3080 and ST-80 iron roughnecks. The student will also learn the functional components of the iron roughnecks, proper lubrication, adjustment and troubleshooting techniques.

 
 

TOP DRIVE SYSTEM
TDS 10, 11 LAND RIG
MECHANICAL

1 DAY

TDS-11 Top Drive

This course is designed to train personnel on the maintenance, mechanical troubleshooting and repair of the land rig top drive. The student will also learn the functional components of the top drives, proper lubrication, adjustment and troubleshooting techniques. The course includes a discussion of the ISO-style hydraulic/pneumatic symbols.

 
 

LAND RIG 101

1 DAY

Land Rig 101

Attendees will become familiar with the overall layout and basic components of the land drilling rig. The functions of all components during the drilling process will be covered and both older and more modern technologies will be discussed.
