NOV Quality Tubing 's HO-70™ is manufactured to be a cost effective coiled tubing, while meeting yield and tensile strength needs for a variety of permanent installations, including jet pump and plunger lift, high strength hang-off, and velocity and siphon string requirements. This material has been engineered to have quantifiable fatigue life, allowing removal and reinstallation of the string for well servicing operations.
The tubing is manufactured using the same manufacturing and proven quality system as QT-700®, QT-800®, QT-900™ and QT-1000®. ASTM A607 modified steel is used. HO-70™ performance is further enhanced by a continuous stress relief. As supplied HO-70™, may contain tube-to-tube welds.
Upon request, HO-70™ can be ordered as a FLASH-FREE® product. HO-70™ FLASH-FREE® features tube-to-tube butt welds that utilize a computer controlled welding process. The intrusion of the internal weld bead is small and can be verified for clearance by using specially-sized gauge balls.
