A strong commitment to delivering breakthrough technology propels XL Systems to expand its facilities and implement operational improvements that augment top-quality production. Recent capacity expansion includes a state-of-the-art, roll-through Stingray weld line in Vlissingen, The Netherlands.
The Vlissingen plant was established in 1997 to service the European, African and Middle Eastern regions. This manufacturing facility produces both integrally threaded and weld-on connectors on independent production lines.
XL Systems' headquarters in Beaumont, Texas encompasses manufacturing, engineering and service for the Western Hemisphere. The Port of Beaumont offers deep-water access for ocean carriers only five miles from this facility. In-house and contract truck lines provide alternate transport to the Port of Houston, just 90 miles away. These multiple logistics choices ensure quick, cost-effective material handling for the import and export of XL Systems raw materials and finished products.
The XL Systems Beaumont facility is situated on 40 acres of land and currently utilizes approximately 50% of that area. Several office buildings, fabrication and maintenance shops, two primary machining centers as well as more than 60 sets of permanent pipe racks make up the existing facility with ample room for future growth. Material is routed from long-term storage racks through sequential operations, and is either stored as available inventory or staged for protector installation, loadout and delivery.
Sales and marketing for the Western Hemisphere is centrally located in Houston, Texas. XL Systems also has a growing manufacturing facility in Batam, Indonesia, with both integral threading and weld-on production capabilities. International sales and support offices are located in strategic oilfield centers around the world including Scotland, Qatar, The United Arab Emirates, Singapore, Mexico, Argentina, Brazil and Trinidad. Global reach allows XL Systems to respond quickly and efficiently to customers worldwide.
