Tandem Stripper Packers

Tandem Stripper Packers are designed to be run "in tandem" below a conventional or Side Door stripper packer and may be run independently as a back-up stripper, or in conjunction with the upper pack-off. When running the Tandem simultaneously with the upper stripper, lubricant can be injected under pressure between the packers to reduce the well pressure taken across the tandem packer, and increase packer element life. The injection porting also allows for injection of inhibitors and deicing chemicals, as well. Tandem stripper packers are available in the conventional and Side Door configurations with certification to NACE, North Sea Service, and Arctic services.
