• Hercules HP Crooked BOP  

    It is not uncommon for producers to be challenged with situations where surface casing is not cemented in perfectly vertically or the wellhead was welded improperly. Our solution for this is the Crooked BOP.




    • Can be moved laterally over the tubing up to ½ in any direction
    • Supplied as 3½ big bore (r35)
    • Dual-pin ram ROTA design with integral flow tee
    • Pressure rated up to 5,000 psi on the rams and 7,500 psi on the body
    • Uses 3½-in. tubing hanger and two joints of 3½-in. tubing followed by crossover back to 2⅞-in. tubing
    • Flow line orientation can be rotated 360° 


    • Easily adjustable on the field
    • Safe, proven, and cost-effective method for correcting crooked wells
    • Alternative repair techniques for crooked wells are very expensive and often dangerous
    • Operating a crooked well without a Crooked BOP is often very difficult for the operator and hard on equipment

    Bottom connection = 3⅛-in. 5K R35 flange

    Side connection = 21/16-in. 5K R24 with 2-in. line pipe
