    Description

    The Thru-Kote connection system utilizes a patented insert sleeve designed to protect the internal coating during the welding process.  

    Thru-Kote insert fittings provide the same protection and can be fabricated for any configuration, providing an economical and flexible method for field construction, tie-in's, terminations, modifications and repair of internally coated lines.

    These products are compatible with all Tube-Kote™ coatings and can be used in both onshore and offshore applications. Please contact your Tuboscope representative for accurate coating selection.

    Thru-Kote Advantages 
    During the welding process, heat generated within the pipe will burn back the internal plastic coating approximately 1-2 inches from the welding seam. Thru-Kote sleeves and fittings isolate the burn-back of the coating and protect the steel substrate.
