In Vechta, Germany, we welcomed members of the Freiwillige Feuerwehr Vechta Youth Fire Department to our facility. During the visit, the group shared how its training program helps young people develop practical skills in fire safety, technical rescue, first aid, teamwork and community service.
We also supported the SV Zweckel Youth Division, a local sports club that gives children and teenagers opportunities to stay active, build confidence and learn through teamwork. The club promotes inclusion and helps young athletes develop values such as respect, fair play and responsibility.
In Austria, we donated to Verein Rollende Engel, an organization that helps fulfill the final wishes of people with life-limiting illnesses. Its volunteers provide specialized transportation and medical support so individuals can attend family celebrations, visit meaningful places or return home.
“Every community has organizations that quietly make a real difference,” said Regina Heckmann, HR business partner. “Whether they’re helping young people develop new skills or supporting families during life’s most meaningful moments, we’re proud to stand alongside them and help strengthen the communities where we live and work.”
Each organization supports its community in a different way. Together, these partnerships show how local action can create meaningful opportunities, strengthen connections and support people when it matters most.
