iNOVaTHERM Land Portable Treatment Unit

Improve your environmental performance by treating your drilling waste at the source, which reduces your carbon footprint and lowers your operational cost.

Description

Our iNOVaTHERM™ Land portable treatment unit efficiently treats oil-based drilling waste, allowing you to eliminate the costly transport of waste while meeting all environmental requirements for disposal. As a multi-energy source indirect thermal treatment unit, the portable treatment unit processes various drilling wastes, including contaminated drill cuttings, oil-based muds, oily sludges, and slops. Our iNOVaTHERM system has proven to recover oil and water from the drilling waste, consistently delivering less than 0.1%* oil on cuttings (OOC).

Unlike other technologies, our treatment unit uses non frictional indirect heating to maintain constant temperatures with lower energy requirements, which improves efficiency with quicker startup and shutdown times, lowering NPT. Our “plug-and-play” system is compact and features a robust design that offers simple mobilization and installation for a reduced footprint when compared to alternative technologies. In addition to reducing environmental impact, the system’s higher treatment capacities, decreased energy consumption, and reduced manpower requirements will lower your operating costs. Further cost savings can be recognized through recovery of expensive base oil and required transportation. When NOV's technology can successfully reduce waste streams and return valuable base oil for re-use, we decrease an operations carbon footprint. We reduce the volume of transport vehicle trips and help keep carbon emitting activities to a minimum.
