The Elmar™ lightweight wireline valve is 60% lighter and continues to provide the same operational customer benefits as our compact valve. It can be easily applied in areas constrained by lifting and space capacity while offering ease of handling and weight reduction during maintenance.

With third-party certification, full material traceability, and over 15 years’ field experience, our wireline valve performs sealing and shearing functions when running slickline, braided wireline, or electric line during well service operations.

Seamlessly complementing our lightweight systems in 3 and 4 1/16 in. sizes, our lightweight wireline valve’s pressure-balanced piston design minimizes hydraulic volume, allows rapid closure, and reduces accumulator requirements.

We supply our lightweight wireline valve with quick union connections integral to the wireline valve body (4 in.) or metal-to-metal seal adapter connections (3 in.). They are also equipped in a manifold block with integral equalization, wellhead pressure monitoring, bleed down facility, and a glycol and grease injection unit. The valve features cylinder ram pockets, which assist during the assembly preventing accidental ram drop, in addition to ram position indicators and keyless ram bores, which allow ram inversion as and when required.
