Our purpose-made Anson™ mud gate valves are suitable for the toughest demands of abrasive drilling mud service. We provide complete mud pumps and standpipe manifolds.
We offer two models of these easy-to-operate and simple-to-maintain valves—MV50 (suitable for up to 5,000-psi maximum working pressure) and MV75 (suitable for up to 7,500-psi maximum working pressure).
MV50
- Available with various connections including butt weld, flange, hub, or Anson hammer union
- Molded, one-piece (boot) seat design particularly suited for abrasive service and applications where valve contamination by line fluid sediment is an issue
- Nitride hardened stainless steel gate as standard
MV75: Suitable for a maximum working pressure of 7,500 PSI
- Available with various connections including butt weld, flange, hub, or Anson hammer union
- One-piece, ‘disc type’ gate and seat design:
- Suspended stainless steel discs molded with rubber, designed to dampen pulsation effect from mud pumps and extend the life of the valve
- Repeatable high- and low-pressure sealing; capable of passing the most stringent testing for this type of valve in the industry.
- Nitride hardened stainless steel gate as standard
- Cavity-less body design limits ingress of contaminants
- Highly qualified valve tested for repeatable low- and high-pressure sealing capability with both liquid and gas.
