To support operations of monoethylene glycol (MEG) regeneration and reclamation systems, we have developed our MEG Process Intelligence Manager to provide operators with valuable insights in how to optimize performance and to control the complex chemistry within the MEG system. The tool utilizes our field experience, data analytics, and dashboards to show customized key performance indicators. These indicators will provide the operator with valuable information about the process system. Alarms will give early warnings of upset conditions. As an example, presence of problematic ions or salts can be identified at an early stage and remedial actions can be initiated to avoid excessive scaling and accumulation of contaminants which may result in downtime.
