Advancing Floating Lift Analysis with Cadeler
“We thrive on solving complex engineering tasks, and our recent collaboration with Cadeler exemplifies this. Cadeler requested an advanced risk assessment for floating lifts using their jack-up vessel’s main crane, focusing on the unlikely scenario of a dropped load and its potential implications for operational safety, vessel stability, and crane integrity.

What made this project particularly rewarding was the opportunity to combine knowledge from multiple disciplines in an innovative way. Our team developed a cutting-edge multi-body dynamic time-domain simulation to model the effects of a sudden load change. This enabled us to precisely predict the behaviour of the crane and vessel, ensuring the highest standards of safety for Cadeler’s onboard lifting operations.

This project highlighted the creativity and collaboration at GustoMSC. It was immensely rewarding to work closely with Cadeler, leveraging our combined expertise to deliver a tailored solution that aligns with their commitment to safety and operational excellence. Together, we demonstrated our commitment to pioneering solutions in the offshore industry.”
