Structural solutions without the extra steel
“Cadeler A/S was finalizing the first of their three A-class vessels, based on the GustoMSC NG-20000X-CA design, and preparing it for its first monopile installation campaign by outfitting it with specialized deck equipment. We were proud to have partnered with them to ensure structural safety throughout this process.

Our scope included modelling the monopile deck equipment, updating the vessel’s loading conditions and verifying the (local) structural integrity of the global hull.

Working with multiple deck equipment designers/suppliers, we adapted to evolving designs by combining their structural models with our global structural hull model. Thanks to close collaboration with Cadeler and open communication across all parties, we kept the project moving without delay.

In the end, the teamwork paid off, we avoided costly reinforcements and kept everything on track, on time, and safely within limits.”
