Description

An industry first, our two-door stripper assemblies incorporate two independent packer elements that are compressed by independent pistons and hydraulic circuits. With doors on each packer element, this assembly setup allows easy access to change out elements and wear brass under pressure. This functionality allows quick element replacement with pipe stabbed, reducing NPT and safety risk.

Utilizing these independent pistons, you can use one packer while the other is held in reserve. When the first packer cannot affect a seal, the second packer is actuated, thus extending the time between packer changes. In addition, the two-door design provides ease-of-maintenance and accessibility to the pack-off element and bushings, allowing them to be replaced under pressure.

Suitable for various applications and working environments where two pack-off barrier systems are required, the Texas Oil Tools™ two-door stripper assembly continues to lead the industry in reliable well control safety equipment.

Features/Benefits

  • Pressure chamber between the packers can be used to inject lubricants or inhibitors during coiled tubing operations, extending the packer's life
  • Independent hydraulic pistons and circuits allow independent operation allows either element to be first in service
  • Extended wear bushings reduce the unsupported distance between injector blocks and stripper assembly
  • Two-door design provides ease-of-maintenance and accessibility to the pack-off element and bushings, allowing them to be replaced under pressure
  • Dual-element design increasing operational time
  • Rotating flange helps align bolt holes during rig-up operations
